Review highlights
Based on 177 reviewsHikaru Sushi M-City is widely praised for its fresh and diverse sushi offerings, particularly its aburi nigiri and made-to-order dishes that arrive promptly. The sushi train concept is a highlight, providing a variety of options that are frequently refreshed, though some patrons note occasional fluctuations in sushi quality and selection depending on the time of visit. The restaurant’s staff receive consistent commendations for their attentiveness and friendly service, enhancing the overall dining experience. While the pricing is considered a bit on the higher side, many find it reasonable given the quality and variety available. The minimalist ambiance, without background music, is noted but does not detract significantly from the experience. Overall, it is recommended for sushi enthusiasts seeking variety and quick service.
Located in M-City's first floor utilising the open space for a sushi train experience. At $4.50 minimum per plate of sushi, it is not cheap; but their variety of aburi nigiri with mayo and shichimi were very tasty; so soft and creamy with some heat from the spice. The nigiri with fried toppings were pretty good too but maybe should have ordered them from the touch pad to get some freshly made crispy ones. Overall nice to grab a few plates for a quick meal
Absolutely love coming to this sushi train! The staff are welcoming, accommodating and there for any questions you may have. The food itself is delicious and fresh- definitely recommend the katsu chicken
I absolutely love this place! I come here all the time—not just for the delicious food, but because the staff are genuinely amazing. They always greet you with a warm smile and are happy to help with anything you need. The made-to-order dishes arrive incredibly fast, and the sushi train is constantly refreshed, so there's always a great variety to choose from. I highly recommend giving this place a try—you won’t be disappointed!
Great sushi train experience. You can easily grab food off of the train or if nothing tickles your fancy, there's a screen at each table where you can order noodle soups or any other sushi on offer. Ambience is a bit lacking as there's no music. Staff are very attentive and service is fast. Food also tastes fresh. Reasonably priced dishes at $4.50-$5.50 per dish. Would definitely come again.
3.9/5 nice range of sushi plates 3rd visit - where did all the good dishes go? Couldn’t find anything satisfying. Monday at 5pm. 2nd visit - Came here at lunch time so it was very quiet and empty. There was plenty of plates on the conveyer Belt and the quality was good. There was some styles I’ve never had before which took me by surprised. Spent 50$ for 2 people so I think that was fairly priced. Would come here again for a quick sushi fix. 1st visit - didn’t expect a sushi train happening going up the escalators! Area def needs more attraction as it’s quiet. Spent about $55 for two. Would come again.
Really good tasting fresh sushi coupled with interesting new modern flavours and service. However, if you order via the ipad, you don't get fresh seared sushi when ordered there, which you normally would. So minus 1 star for this, otherwise very good!
A great sushi place, a lot of different choices available! Sushi is always consistent and delicious. My favourite hot food is the fried tofu and I definitely recommend it! The udon was really nice as well. Overall it was a great experience and I’ll always be back. However, one thing to note is that some dishes on the sushi belt is not covered which I find a little unhygienic.
The food here was really great, so much so that I enjoyed my meal and forgot to take more photos. I think the price is very reasonable. Staffs are really friendly, I enjoyed my time here and the vibrancy. I'm definitely coming more, so many flavours to enjoy!
